Aaron Froehlich found the back of the net twice to lead the William Jewell College men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Parkside at Greene Stadium in Liberty, Mo., on Sunday afternoon.

The victory upped the Cardinals' overall record to 1-3-2 on the season and 1-1-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. Parkside, meanwhile, dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-4 in the GLVC.Â

The Rangers took the lead in the game's fourth minute for the early edge as Antonio Gonzalez scored on a breakaway from the left wing to give Parkside a 1-0 edge.Â

Froehlich then tied the game up at the 21:59 mark off a penalty kick. The score would remain tied at the half 1-1.Â

Froehlich scored the winning goal on a shot from the left wing at the 58:07 mark.Â

Jewell ended the game trailing 14-9 in shots and led 5-1 in corner kicks. Goalie
