Box Score The William Jewell College women's soccer team finished its first home stand of the season with a 1-1-0 record after falling to University of Wisconsin-Parkside 4-0 on Sunday afternoon in Liberty, Mo.
The 23
rd ranked Parkside Rangers (4-0-1) would take a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute as Jillian Hetfleisch tallied a strike on a breakaway at 22:42.
The Rangers scored again at the 46:31 mark when Emily Konior knocked in a goal off a free kick.  The score would remain 2-0 at halftime. 
In the second half Parkside sealed the win with goals at the 73rd and the 76th mark respectively. 
For Jewell, junior 
Jade Gifford tallied the only two shots for the Cardinals on the afternoon. 
In net, 
Jordan Lewis made two saves while 
Alex Dressman made one for Jewell. 
William Jewell returns to Great Lakes Valley Conference action Friday when it travels to St. Louis to take on Maryville University.  Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
