Box Score A three-goal first half doomed the William Jewell College men's soccer team, which fell 5-0 at Northeastern State University Sunday afternoon.
Three different players scored for the Riverhawks(2-0-0) in the first half; Adam Schmoker just 48 seconds into the match, Brendan Bombardier in the 30th minute and Jordan Schmoker in the 37th minute.Â
Northeastern would add two more goals in the second half including another goal from Jordan Schmoker in the 58th minute.Â
The Riverhawks out-shot Jewell 19-10, putting 13 shots on goal. Â The Cardinals (0-2-0) managed three corner kicks, while Northeastern took six in the game.
Jewell  will open will up Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Friday, September 12 as they travel to Indianapolis, Ind., to take on University of Indianapolis at 6:00 p.m. (CDT)
