The William Jewell College men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Bellarmine University on Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jewell came out of doubles down 1-2 as Marc Gärtner and Isaac Hamilton picked up an 8-6 win at No.2 doubles.

Jimmy Hunter evened the match at 2-2 with a thrilling three set victory 7-6, 3-6, 7-5.  Bellarmine won two straight three set matches at No. 1 and No.2 respectively and clinched the match win at No. 5 singles.

The Cardinals (3-8) will travel to St. Charles, Mo., to wrap up their Spring Break trip against Lindenwood University.  First serve is set for 10:00 a.m.
