Men's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Tilt to Missouri Valley 8-1

The William Jewell College men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to former Heart of America Athletic Conference foe Missouri Valley on Wednesday in Marshall, Mo.

Sophomore Amery Clews secured the only point for Jewell (4-11) with a 5-7, 6-2, 10-7 victory at No. 2 singles.

The Cardinals return to Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Friday when they take on Quincy University at 2:00 p.m. in Quincy, Ill.
