The William Jewell men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision today at Emporia State University. 

The loss drops the Cardinals to 4-13 while Emporia improves to 13-3.

The Cardinals came out of doubles down 3-0 and Jewell earned their only match victory when Isaac Hamilton won by injury default at No. 2 singles.

Sophomore Brian Wohlers continued his strong play falling 7-5, 7-5 at No. 5 singles.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Wednesday, March 30 when they play host to former HAAC foe Missouri Valley College at 3:00 p.m. at William Jewell.
