The Rockhurst University men's tennis team shutout the William Jewell Cardinals 6-0 on Wednesday at Clayview Country Club. 

The Hawks improved to 6-4, while the Cardinals fall to 4-14.

Marc Gartner and Marco Martinez lost a tough battle at No. 2 doubles 8-6 and Gartner lost a tough 7-5, 6-2 match at No. 1 singles. 

The Cardinals will travel to Springfield, Mo., to take on Drury University on Saturday, April 9.  First serve is set for 11:00 a.m.
