Box Score The William Jewell College men's soccer team scored a golden goal in the second overtime to defeat McKendree University 1-0 and earn their first Great Lakes Valley Conference win of the season.  The Cardinals improve to 3-8 overall and 1-8 in league play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 103:41 –Evan Miller knocked in the golden goal off a corner kick from Charlie Parrish.   

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals out shot the Bearcats 18-14 and led 9-2 in shots on goal. 

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• Drew Dempsey had a game high five shots followed by three shots from Charlie Parrish. 
   

IN GOAL

• Goalie Quinn Ruggeri recorded two saves in the game to earn his second win of the season.  

YOU SHOULD NOTE

• This was Jewell's first overtime win of the season.
