The William Jewell College women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking non-conference game to Northwest Missouri State University this evening at Greene Stadium, falling 1-0 in overtime.  Jewell falls to 4-2 overall while Northwest Missouri State improves to 2-4. 
 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 95:32 Danielle Wolfe scored on a header for the Bearcats that ended the game five minutes into the overtime period. 
   

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Bearcats out shot the Cardinals 15-10 including a 10-4 advantage in the second half and overtime combined. 
   

LEADERS OF THE FLIGHT

• Annalee Arbeitman and Bella Catano led the Cards with two shots each.

IN GOAL

• Jordan Lewis recorded a season high 11 saves on the night for Jewell.
   

YOU SHOULD NOTE

• This was the first non-conference loss of the 2017 season for Jewell.
