The William Jewell men's soccer team held the No. 16 ranked team in the nation scoreless for nearly 80 minutes on Sunday afternoon before Southern Indiana scored back-to-back goals and earned a 2-0 win in Evansville. The Cardinals fall to 5-11 overall and 2-10 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 79:51 - Eric Ramirez put USI on top late with a shot deflecting off the Jewell defender and into the back of the net. (1-0, USI)
• 80:53 - Just over a minute late Ramirez was on the receiving end of a cross and put the ball in the net to give the Screaming Eagles a two-goal lead. (2-0, USI)

• The Eagles posted a season-best 28 shots but just nine were on goal, while Jewell had seven shots.
