The Cardinals found themselves down 3-0 after doubles play losing 8-0 and 8-1 at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles respectively. The No.1 tandem of
Bjorn Myers and
Cutter Sanders lost a tough 9-7 battle at the top spot.
In singles competition, USI took five of the six singles matches. Jewell's lone singles win came from Myers at No. 1 singles in a 6-0, 6-1 dominating performance.
