The No. 1 doubles team of
Bjorn Myers and
Cutter Sanders continued their outstanding season winning 8-4. The Cards dropped close matches at No. 2 and No. 3 losing 8-6 and 9-7 respectively.
In singles, Myers and Sanders won at No. 1 and No.2 to put Jewell up 3-2 before John Brown went up 4-3 with wins at No. 3 and No. 6 singles. Senior
Brian Wohlers won in straight sets at No. 5 to tie the match score 4-4. Sophomore
Hayden Fulk dropped a heartbreaking three set match at No. 4 singles 5-7, 7-5 and 10-8 that clinched the dual victory for John Brown.
What's Next
The Cardinals travel to Arkansas City, Kan., tomorrow afternoon to take on Cowley County Community college at 1:00 p.m.
