The William Jewell College men's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by Quincy University today in Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Clayview Country Club. 
 
How It Happened
The Cards came out of doubles play down 2-1 with Jewell's only win occurring at No. 1 doubles where the tandem of Bjorn Myers and Cutter Sanders won 8-4. 

In singles play, Myers logged Jewell's only singles win upending Quincy's Daniel Vayser 6-3, 3-6 and 6-3.    

What's Next
The Cardinals will take on Truman State University on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.  Saturday will also be senior day where Jewell will honor seniors Brian Wohlers and Marco Martinez.
