The William Jewell men's soccer team opened the 2018 season on the road on Tuesday at Harding University. The Cardinals fell by a score of 2-1 to drop to 0-1 on the young season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• 3' - Teddy Gifford got the season started off on the right foot with a goal just minutes into the game. 
• 30' - The Bison knotted the score on a goal by Jason Diaz.
• 85' - Harding got the game winner off the foot of Jack Savage with less than five minutes remaining in regulation.

• The Cardinals were out-shot 17-9 and 11-5 in shots on goal.
