The William Jewell men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss at the hands of McKendree University on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals fall to 1-9-1 on the year and 1-7-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

How it Happened

• After more than 30 minutes of scoreless play, McKendree got two goals over the final 12 minutes to take a 2-0 lead. 
• The Bearcats added to their advantage in the 55th minute with a goal from Raul Artega. 
• McKendree tacked on two more goals over the final 10 minutes. 

For the Cardinals

• Jewell managed just a single shot against the McKendree defense, by Charlie Parrish. 
• Jose Cambreros finished with four saves. 

For the Bearcats

• McKendree collected 20 shots led by three players with three each.
