The William Jewell women's soccer team returns home for their first full week of Great Lakes Valley Conference play this weekend. The Cardinals open with Quincy University on Friday followed by Truman on Sunday to kick off homecoming week on the Jewell campus. 

LAST TIME OUT
• The Cardinals are coming off a tough 4-1 loss at Rockhurst on Sunday. The defending GLVC Champions scored three goals in the second half to pull away. 
• Jewell was outshot 22-8 overall and 12-3 in shots on goal. 
• Kayla Crowder's four shots led the Cardinals. 

THE NCAA ERA SERIES
Quincy leads the NCAA era series 6-2 including taking the last four. The last win for Jewell was a 2-1 victory at home in 2014. 
 
The Bulldogs have taken all seven meetings since the move to the GLVC in 2011. Jewell took a 2-0 lead in 2018 before Truman scored three unanswered to steal the win.
