ON TAP
The William Jewell men's soccer team opens the season this weekend with non-conference games beginning on Friday evening with Rogers State and followed by Harding on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals are coming off a 2018 season where they went 5-12 and 2-11 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play, a two-win improvement over the previous season.

Jewell will be under the direction of first year head man Eddie Horn who comes to The Hill from Missouri-Kansas City where he served as an assistant coach under William Jewell alumnus and Hall of Famer Chris Cissell, '94.

YOU SHOULD NOTE
• The Cardinals lost 68 percent of the offensive production to graduation but do return junior Noah Espinosa who posted three goals and four assists in 2018.
• There will be a new face in goal this fall for Jewell following the graduation of Quinn Ruggeri. Ruggeri posted 101 saves as a senior which ranked 15th in NCAA-II.
