HOW IT HAPPENED
- Yourdon started round two in a tie for second place and shot a career-low 69 on Tuesday to surpass the leader. His 69 is tied for the second-best mark in an 18-hole round in the NCAA era for the Cardinals.
- Bronson Smith finished fourth after posting a 152.
- Fredrik Hersley posted the biggest move on day two, rising from 15th to a tie for fifth, after improving by 12 strokes from day one.
- Stephen Radley and Logan Wiske also had improvements in the second round, rising to a tie for 10th overall (160), shooting a 76 and 78 respectively on day two.
