The William Jewell men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Northwest Missouri State on Friday morning at Clayview Country Club. Junior Cutter Sanders shined, earning a singles win over the 35th ranked player in the nation after teaming up with Pedro Braga for a doubles win over the No. 9 ranked team.

• Sanders defeated No. 35 Franco Oliva (6-1, 4-6, 10-5)
• Pedro Braga defeated FAbien Calloud (6-2, 0-6, 10-7)
• Andrea  Zamurri defeated Athos Brocker (6-2, 6-3)
• Louis Compas defeated Hayden Fulk (6-0, 6-1)
• Agustin Velasco defeated Jack Ledbetter (6-3, 6-4)
• Martin Sanchez defeated David Cormack (6-0, 6-2)

Doubles

• Sanders / Braga defeated Calloud / Zamurri (6-2)
• Velasco / Oliva defated Fulk / Brocker (6-1)
• Bjorn Kurtze / Sawyer Nickel defeated Ledbetter / Cormack (6-1)
