LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 decision to Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday afternoon in Greene Stadium. The Cardinals fall to 0-9-1 on the season and 0-7 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Tritons scored the game's only goal in the ninth minute as Jaycee Cotton was the recipient of a well placed deflection off a Jewell defender from 15 yards out in the box. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Clara Fronabarger had four of the Cardinal's eight shots, including two off the bars. 
• Emily Glassman finished with six saves.

Jewell is back on the road next week as they travel to Indianapolis on Friday followed by a stop at Southern Indiana on Sunday.
