ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Jewell women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss on Friday afternoon to Missouri-St. Louis. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UMSL scored just 2:16 into the game as Casey Clark found Maddie Schweiss for the goal. 
• Jewell got off three more shots in the game, including one in the 58th minute by Kayla Crowder but the UMSL goalie was able to keep the clean sheet.  

FOR THE CARDINALS

• Crowder led the Cardinals with two shots, both on target, while Kate Lawrence added one. 
• Kaylie Kappelmann finished with five saves. 

FOR THE TRITONS

• The Tritons recorded 16 shots, led by four from Cassie Hall. 
• Brynee Qualley had a save on all three of Jewell's shots.
