CARDINAL NOTES
- Jewell is coming off a 1-1 weekend falling to Quincy 3-2 before earning a 1-0 win over Truman on Saturday. Freshman Ethan Jayaram scored his second goal of the season, in the 83rd minute, to lift the Cardinals to the win.
- Eli Gratz sits in second in the GLVC in total saves with 48, just one behind Southwest Baptist's Will vanHoornbeek.
- Jewell has taken the least number of shots this season, compared to the rest of the conference, averaging just 5.82 per game, but have managed 2.64 points per contest which falls in the middle of the league at ninth.
- The Cardinals have been well-balanced this season with three players having scored two goals with seven players scoring at least one. Carson Lee's 13 shots with eight on goal, lead the team.
ABOUT ROCKHURST
- Rockhurst enters the week at 2-6-3 overall and coming off a 1-0 win over Quincy, their first since the opening weekend.
- As a team, the Hawks average 8.5 shots per game at a .383 on target percentage. Jacob Weaver's two goals are tops on the team while Alessandro Macchioni has taken a team-high 13 shots with one score.
- Three different players have seen time in goal for Rockhurst, led by Fabio D'Errico who has started seven games and posted 28 saves.
- The Hawks are coached by one of the winningest coaches in college soccer in Tony Tocco. His 709 wins over 49 years are second all-time in the collegiate ranks.
