LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team suffered a tough 2-1 loss at the hands of Missouri S&T. The Cardinals drop to 1-3 on the year and 1-1 in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Missouri S&T took an early lead, scoring in the ninth minute. 
• Jewell tied the game in the 70th minute as Keketso Lipholo was able to find the back of the goal from three yards out on the left side. 
• In the 88th minute, the Miners got a goal from Jason Jorgensen off a corner kick to take the win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals were outshot 21-10, led by three from Carson Lee. 
• Eli Gratz was superb in the goal, making a career-high 10 saves, including multiple key stops in the second half.
