TOPEKA, Kan. - The William Jewell track and field teams opened the 2022 portion of the schedule on Saturday at the Washburn Rust Buster.

The Cardinals had five top-15 finishes, including one in the top five, along with one new career best. The Jewell freshmen in particular shined, with four top-15 marks, led by Cydney Banks with a fourth place finish in the women's weight throw.
