LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell women's soccer team begins a three-game road trip to wrap up the 2022 season this weekend with stops at Quincy University and Illinois Springfield.

INSIDE THE SERIES

• The Cardinals are 2-10 against Quincy University in the NCAA era and are looking for their first win over the Hawks since 2014 after dropping a 5-2 decision last year.
• Jewell has fared better against Illinois Springfield over the years, going 8-2-1 but after a 2-2 tie last season, the Cardinals are in search of their first victory over the Stars wince 2018.   

 
CARDINAL NOTES

• Corrine Hughes scored twice against Lewis last week to bring her season total to eight, second in the league, behind only McKendree's Anna Stiffler. The senior's total surpasses Jade Gifford (2015) for fourth in the NCAA era for single season goals. 
• Kim Munoz picked up both assists last weekend, the first two helpers of her career. Six different players have recorded at least one assist this season, led by Kate Lawrence's three. 
• The Cardinals are fourth in the GLVC in shot accuracy, putting the ball on target 50% of the time.
