LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's soccer team fell 3-2 on Sunday afternoon to Indianapolis, dropping to 2-4-3 on the season and in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Greyhounds grabbed the lead first with a goal in the 14th minute, as the recipients of a well placed deflection directly to Seth Ward. 
• Ethan Nichols snuck one into the goal off the keeper's hands less than a minute later to quickly tie things up. 
• The Hounds added another score on a deflection off a defender in the 40th minute only to see Walker Bond connect on the penalty kick in the 43rd to knot the score at two-all at the intermission. 
• UIndy got three consecutive shots in the 76th minute, the first two which were saved by Jose Arellano and the defense but the third found its way into the goal for the game winner. 

KEY STATS

• Jewell finished with just six shots, led by three from Bond. 
• Nichols scored his third goal of the year while McComie picked up his first assist. Bond added his second score of the season. 
• Arellano finished with four saves, including stopping a late penalty kick, while Jayden Hicks had one.
