WINONA, Minn. - The William Jewell men's golf team went up against some of the best in the Midwest/Central super region this week at The Bridges in Minnesota. As a team, the Cardinals shot 622, with a four stroke improvement on day two, to place 13th overall. The hosts, Winona State, took home the top team honors at at 10 over.
THE LINEUP
- Fredrik Hersley and Aiden Sanders led the Cardinals, each shooting a 153 over the two rounds to tie for 42nd place. Hersley posted a 74 on day two to jump 18 spots.
- Bryson Oots came out firing in the opening round of his career, putting together a score of 75 followed by an 80 on day two to tie for 52nd at 155.
- Scotty Jolly and Stephen Radley rounded out the lineup at 162 and 168, respectively.
