ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Jewell women's wrestling took on three tough opponents on Wednesday at a quad meet, hosted by Missouri Baptist. The Cardinals dropped decisions to No. 20 Lindenwood and the hosts (NAIA) No. 13 Spartans but defeated Aurora 14-13.
Allison Meyer led Jewell with two wins over Lindenwood's McKenzie Gilreath and Aurora's Camila Newman, both by tech fall.
Athena Willden also picked up a win over Taryn Johnson of Missouri Baptist.
