EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The William Jewell men's swimming team finished in seventh place at the 2023 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships which concluded the five-day event on Saturday evening. The Cardinals picked up 494 team points to finish more than 100 ahead of Quincy University. Drury took home the team championship.
The Cardinals wrapped up the week with a new school record in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:00.39, bettering the 2021 time of 3:00.68 and finish fourth.

Austin Wolfe each picked up points for Jewell in at least five events while
Vaughn Sloan,
Ian Wiley,
Jose Carlos Sanchez and
Collin Geurts all appeared in the top-24 in four events.
