LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's tennis team nearly pulled off a sweep of Doane Unviersity on Monday afternoon, winning 6-1. The Cardinals move to 7-8 on the season with the victory.
Jewell rallied to win the doubles point as
Ugnius Bickauskis and
Gage Foltz won 6-2 at No. 1 followed by
Max Quennery and
Max Wheeler at No. 2 by an identical score.
The Tigers tied the match, winning at No. 1 singles, but the Cards came back with five straight victories.
