Box Score LIBERTY, Mo – The William Jewell men's soccer team lost Sunday afternoon 2-1 against McKendree University. The Cardinals move to 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in GLVC play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Exactly 25 minutes in, midfielder Alexis Ibarra found the net as we booted his shot into the top corner of the goal to put Jewell up 1-0.
• After coming out of halftime tied 1-1, the Cardinals collected a pair of shots but neither resulting in a point.
• Jewell had the personnel advantage after a McKendree red card forced the Bearcats to play with 10 players, but could not overcome the 2-1 defiect. 

KEY STATS

• Ethan Nichols had one shot on goal, his 4th of the season tied for most on the team.
• Ethan Moore and Noah Jimenez each made their season debuts for Jewell.
