ROMEOVILLE, Ill - The William Jewell men's soccer team lost on the road against Lewis University. Cardinals drop to 0-6 on the season and 0-3 in the conference. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the first seven minutes, Jewell had shots by Henry Staebell and Alexis Ibarra but neither found the net.
• Senior defender Sam Wambold had a shot on goal as the Cardinals went into halftime trailing 2-0.
• The second half saw shots on goal by Brian Vidal, Nomar Ogaz, and Tristan Bareotta but was not enough. 

KEY STATS

• Jewell had more second half shots the Flyers, nine to just six.
• Five Cardinal shots on goal is the second most this season.
