INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - William Jewell sophomore Bryson oots has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men's golf, it was announced by the league office on Thursday. This is the first such honor for the men's golf program since joining the league in 2011.
Oots earned medalist honors at the Kansas City Cup, the first tournament win for the Cardinals since 2020 while leading the team to the the team title and the lowest 36-hole score of the NCAA era at 580. Individually he shot a career low 68 in round round and 70 in round two to post a 138, breaking the NCAA era school record.Â
