LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell women's soccer fell Sunday after to Drury University on Senior Day. After the 1-0 loss, Jewell is 3-10-2 on the year and 2-8-2 in the GLVC.
After the game Jewell recognized their six seniors including Emily Glassman, Grace Reineke, Claire Weber, Clara Fronabarger, Casi Waterhouse, and Madi Quarles.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals only shot on goal of the day came on the 10' from freshman Maddy Follmer, aimed at the bottom right but would be stopped by the Panthers keeper. Later in the half Riley Frasure-Smith would get a shot off but teams went into halftime tied at zero.
• In the 75' minute the Panthers would net a goal to take the 1-0 lead in what would be the game winning goal as Jewell did not find the back of the net by the end of the period.

 
KEY STATS

• Senior Emily Glassman got the start, playing 88 minutes with six saves. Fellow senior Madi Quarles finished the game in net for the Cardinals.
• Two shots by Jewell is the fewest since September 29 of this season against Indianapolis when they had one shot.
