INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - William Jewell's Bryson Oots has been named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week of the season, it was announced on Thursday. 

The junior took home medalist honors in the 79-player field at the Arch Cup with a score of 135, including tying his own NCAA era school record with a 66 in round two. At The Mule, he finished three over par to tie for 11th place in the 104-player field. He led his team to a third place finish at the Arch Cup and 15th at The Mule. 

This is Oots' third career Player of the Week, after receiving the nod on September 28 and October 26 of last year.
