QUINCY, Ill. – The William Jewell women's soccer team was shutout 3-0 by Quincy at Legends Stadium on Sunday. The Cardinals fall to 1-6-3 overall and 1-4-1 in the conference.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Quincy had one goal late in the first half to go up 1-0.
• The Hawks scored 13 minutes into the second half to increase their lead over the Cardinals, followed by a late goal in the 76' to create the 3-0 score.
• The Cardinals were unable to find the back of the net, despite 88' minute efforts from Maddy Follmer and London Schulte.

KEY STATS 

• Goalkeeper Hailey Davin had three saves in her second career start. 
• William Jewell recorded six shots, four on goal, including two from forward Lux Sands, one from midfielder Sydney Robinson, and Follmer. 
• The Cardinals produced one shot in the first half and five shots in the second, but were unable to reduce the Hawks' lead.
