Jermain Selected D2CCA All-Region First Team

LIBERTY, Mo. - William Jewell fifth year senior guard Jordan Jermain has been selected the All-Midwest Region First Team, by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), as announced on Friday. He now becomes eligible for the All-America ballot.

After earning Second Team honors a year ago, the guard from Raymore, Mo. enjoyed an exceptional final season for the Cardinals, leading the team and ranking second in the conference with 21.3 points per game while leading Division II with more than 39 minutes per night. He averaged 4.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and nearly one steal per game while shooting better than 43% from the floor and 35% from long range. His three triples per night was tops in the GLVC and 84 total ranked third. On the season, he scored in double figures in all 28 games with 15 games of at least 20 points, including a career high 45 against Indianapolis.

Jermain is one of five Great Lakes Valley Conference players to make the All-Region Team, including three on the First Team, joining Upper Iowa's Nick Reid and Missouri S&T's Andrew Young. Marcus Tomashek of Michigan Tech was voted as the Midwest Region's Player of the Year.
