WHEATON, Ill. – The William Jewell women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Flyers Spring Invitational hosted by Lewis University at Catigny Golf Club. After a 252 first round, Jewell shot 10 strokes less on day two for a 694 stroke total for ninth place.
WOMEN'S LINEUP
- After posting an 88 day one round, Lily Frazier cut off eight strokes in the second round to tie for 24th.
- Madelyn Luttjohann finished tied for 35th, shooting an 87 on day one followed by an 86.
- Tying for 41st Abby Wolff combined for a 176-stroke score over the two days, while Brylie Ellis was one stroke more at 177 tied for 44th.
- Natalie Schmidtberger rounded out the Jewell five with a 183, good for 52nd.
UP NEXT
Cardinals will hit the road in two weeks, traveling to Norwood Hill Country Club in St. Louis to partake in the UMSL Spring Invitational.
