Liberty, MO – After a two hour lightning delay, the William Jewell women's soccer team took the field against Missouri Western State University for their second home game of the season, losing 0-5. This loss brings their record to 0-2-2 on the season, while being 0-0-1 in GLVC action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Missouri Western started the scoring quickly, scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes.
Jessica Baker put a shot up but was unsuccessful.
• The Cardinals went into the half down 3-0.
• In the second half the Griffins maintained added on to their lead scoring two more at the 55' and 74' marks while Jewell was unable to get any shots.
