LIBERTY, Mo. – William Jewell Athletics announces the hiring of Riley Ballou-Lyngstad as Director of Athletics Facilities & Events, effective September 2. In his role, he will oversee the day-to-day equipment and facility needs of the Athletics Department along with coordinating events and student employees.

JaeLynn Ellison. "He has a positive attitude and desire to serve the needs of the student-athletes and his background in multiple areas of athletics will help make our entire department better."
Ballou-Lyngstad comes to The Hill from the City of Shawnee (Kan.) where he served as an event specialist coordinating city events. He previously spent a combined five years at University of Saint Mary (Kan.) and Tabor College (Kan.) overseeing game day and events operations. During his previous time in the college ranks, he coordinated multiple areas of the game day experience including ticketing, instant replay, live streaming, and more while also assisting in facilities, athletic compliance and communication.
As a collegiate student-athlete, he was an 11-time All-Conference performer in track and field at Tabor College while also ranking among the top-25 globally in the Business Strategy Game as part of his coursework.
Ballou-Lyngstad earned his bachelor's degree in sports management and physical education and a master's in business administration, both from Tabor College.
