NEWTON, Kan. – The William Jewell women's golf team concluded their play in the Newman Invite with an eighth place finish, shooting +57 in the event.
 
WOMEN'S LINEUP

• Scotlynn Blackington led the charge for the Cardinals with a +10 after posting an even round one score.
• Lily Frazier was right behind her at +11 and tying for 15^th place.
• Kate Cailteux broke the top-20 within two strokes of Blackington at +12.
• Brylie Ellis shot an 85 in round two to finish tied for 49^th.
• Natalie Schmidtberger shot three less shots in round two, rounding out the Cardinal five standing alone for 54^thplace.

Jewell will head to Romeoville, Illinois next week to play in the Lewis Fall Invite.
