LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell men's soccer team fell 2-0 to No. 13 Missouri S&T on Wednesday evening, dropping to 0-4-0 overall and 0-2-0 in GLVC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Both teams were scoreless through the first half, with Jewell generating three shots and Missouri S&T six.
• Missouri S&T broke the deadlock in the 71' to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Miners added a second goal in the 82' to close out the scoring at 2-0 and secure the win.

KEY STATS

• Alon Milwidsky split time with freshman keeper Aidan Smith who made his collegiate debut.
• Missouri S&T held a 13-4 edge in shots (11-4 on goal) while also winning the corner-kick battle, 9-4.
• Noah Jimenez and Hugo Nordenberg each had a shot on goal for the Cardinals.
