Competed in all three events...Went 7-for-9 at the season-opening Viking Invitational, posting a 300 kg squat and a 710 kg total en route to a first place finish...Improved his total to 742.5 kg at the William Jewell Collegiate Invitational with a season-high 322.5 kg squat...Set season bests in all three lifts at Collegiate Nationals, hitting 340 kg in the squat, 170 kg on the bench press, and 270 kg in the deadlift en route to a 780 kg total and sixth place finish
