Garrett Jahn '08

Garrett Jahn enters his third season as the head coach for the men's soccer program in 2018 after serving as an assistant the previous two years.
 
Jahn was a four year letterwinner on the Jewell soccer teams during the 2004-2007 seasons and graduated in 2008 majoring in Business Administration. During his time as a player at Jewell the team made the National Final Four in 2006 and also was ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation in 2007. He was named Academic All America 2006 and 2007. 
 
Before his time at Jewell, Jahn was a standout youth and high school soccer player. While at Park Hill South he earned numerous honors including playing in the Missouri vs Kansas High School All Star Game at Arrowhead Stadium. He also excelled in the Olympic Development Program where he was a member of the Missouri 85 ODP team and attended ODP Regional Camp.

After his college success Jahn continued to compete on the field including participating in open tryouts with five Major League Soccer teams and two USL PRO teams. He has served as an assistant coach at Staley High School and Park Hill South High School and also coached with the Futura U18 Bombers soccer team.  In addition he has been a volunteer soccer coach with the Southern Platte County Athletic Association and also was an instructor for a soccer clinic in Ghana. While at Jewell he also assisted in the Jewell All Star Soccer Camps.
