Ian Barnes enters his first season at the helm of the men's & women's golf programs in 2025-2026.
• Ausgust 4, 2025 | Named Head Men's & Women's Golf Coach
• Spent four years as a member of the Central Missouri coaching staff
• Coming off the Mules' 2025 National Tournament berth
• Helped UCM to a 2022 Regional Championship, while mentoring a individual medalist at the National Tournament the same season
• Saw Central Missouri win three regular-season tournament wins between 2022 and 2024
• Played four seasons at Central Missouri, including helping the 2021 squad to a No. 4 ranking that included MIAA and Regional championships
• Was an MIAA All-Tournament team selection in 2021 after posting a 219 (+3)
• 2021 NCAA DII Men's Golf "Elite 90" winner, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 90 championships.
• Four-time All-State golfer at Licking High School, including tying for second at state as a sophomore in 2013
• A native of Licking, Missouri
• Earned a bachelor's degree in Design & Drafting Technologies from Central Missouri
• Married to wife Ashley and the proud father to son, Kellen
