Ian Burlingame was named the Director of Athletic Performance on September 8, 2025.

• Spent two years as the head strength and conditioning coach at Columbia College (Mo.) where he worked with 17 varsity sports, including multiple nationally ranked programs
• Helped the Cougars capture two American Midwest Conference Presidents' Cups after finishing fourth or better in every conference-sponsored sport, with eight championships
• CC also won their first Valerie Beeson Women's Sports Championships trophy in 2025 after winning conference titles in women's soccer, golf, and indoor and outdoor track and field
• Spent time as an intern with the University of Utah working primarily with the football and men's tennis programs
• Served as a graduate assistant at Missouri Western State University, implementing strength, speed, agility, mobility, and conditioning programs for multiple sports

• Played baseball collegiately at Avila University (Mo.)

• A native of Independence, Missouri
• Earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology at Avila University followed by a master's in sport and fitness management at Missouri Western
• Is engaged to be married to fiance Shelby Brown
