The William Jewell College volleyball team defeated Tiffin University 3-1 and defeated Lake Superior State University 3-1 today in the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover tournament 3-1.

The Cardinals defeated Tiffin by scores of 25-22, 25-17, 24-26, and 25-19.

Jordan Jackson led the team with 13 kills while Christina Pratt contributed 11.  Cailyn Hayter posted 39 assists and Katie Damgar had 16 digs for the Cardinals, who improved to 11-7 overall.

Jewell then defeated Lake Superior by scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-14.

Jackson again led the Cardinals in kills with 12 and Hannah Herndon pitched in 9.  Hayter had 32 assists and Damgar recorded 21 digs.

The Cardinals, 12-7, return home on Tuesday, October 18 to take on Lindenwood University at 7:30 p.m. at the Mabee Center on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
