Cards Fall 3-0 to Southern Indiana

The William Jewell College volleyball team fell 3-0 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference game against University of Southern Indiana this afternoon in Evansville, Ind.

Jewell fell by set scores of 25-21, 25-18, and 25-14.

For the Cardinals, Hannah Herndon led the team with 10 kills, and Jordan Jackson and Elsey Hopkins each contributed six. Out of the 28 assists for Jewell, Cailyn Hayter led with 23 while Katie Damgar had 18 of the 46 digs with Hayter earning 10 for Jewell.

The Cardinals, 9-5 on the year, will host GLVC opponent Northern Kentucky University on Saturday, October 8 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mabee Center for Physical Education on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
