The William Jewell College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Rockhurst University in Great Lakes Valley Conference volleyball action Tuesday night in Kansas City, Mo. 

Rockhurst won by scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-19 and with the loss the Cards move to 14-9 overall and 6-8 in the GLVC.

Junior Hannah Herndon finished the night with 12 kills while sophomore Cailynn Hayter had a team-high 25 assists. Sophomore Katie Damgar paced the Cardinals with 12 digs.

The Cardinals will take on Maryville University in their Pink Out game for Breast Cancer awareness on Friday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mabee Center on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
