The William Jewell College volleyball team was defeated by Missouri S&T 3-1 Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference Action in Rolla, Mo. 

The Lady Miners won by scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-23, and 25-16.  The loss drops the Cards to  15-11 overall and 7-10 in the GLVC.

Junior Hannah Herndon finished the game with 13 kills and 16 digs while junior Regan Sirbaugh  and Catherine Bruno each finished with 8 kills.   Sophomore Cailynn Hayter had a team-high 30 assists and sophomore Katie Damgar contributed 19 digs.

The Cardinals will take on Drury University on Saturday, November 5 in Springfield, Mo., at 3:00 p.m.
